  • Shipping Data: Carrier rates, tracking numbers, label details, and shipment history generated through PrecisePack.
  • Usage Data: How you interact with PrecisePack, including pages visited, features used, and performance metrics.
  • Contact Information: Information you provide when contacting us, including name, email, and message content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve PrecisePack's services
  • Process shipping rates, generate labels, and optimize packing recommendations
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Shipping Carriers: We transmit shipping details to FedEx, UPS, and USPS/Stamps.com to generate rates and labels as directed by you.
  • Order Platforms: We sync data with your connected order management systems (SellerCloud, ShipStation) as configured by you.
  • Address Validation: We send address data to Google Address Validation API to classify addresses for accurate rate quoting.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL)
  • Secure password hashing
  • Role-based access controls
  • Regular security reviews

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Shipment history and order data are retained to support label reprinting and record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation

For Enterprise customers using multi-tenant features, each company's data is fully isolated. Users can only access data belonging to their assigned company. Super administrators can manage multiple companies but data remains segregated at the database level.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of marketing communications

8. Cookies

PrecisePack uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
